Put simply, AGPL is a set of requirements any server using Core3 (SWGEmu's code) must abide by to fulfil the requirements to run their server. Servers that don't follow this do not share their work and go against what this community is built upon. Hey guys, So I've been hankering to play some SWGemu, being that i haven't played it since it SWG was live, and the nostalgia is beckons. I'd really appreciate any help! Here's the Situation: I've successfully installed the actual game itself using Wine. However, when using the SWGemu client, it asks me to 'Choose a valid Star Wars Galaxies installation.' ![]() From the following menu I go 'My Computer' and then to '(Z:)', and then to my user name, and then to 'Wine Files', and then to 'drive_c', and then to 'program files' and then i choose the 'Star Wars Galaxies' folder. At this point the client accepts the folder as a valid SWG installation and begins to load and it asks me where i want to save it. I choose the folder SWGemu. It begins to load and gets to about 12% before an error window pops up and says connection closed. Anyone have an idea of what is going wrong? Yeah I have the exact same problem: Connection Closed. How to format usb flash for mac and pc. It sounds like it is finding the local SWG installation, but unable to download the correct SWGEmu files. My experience: I've been installing on Linux Mint for the past few days. At first I tried a Wine installation of the windows launchpad and I got a connection closed error while installing SWGEmu.exe. I thought it was a wine error or something, so then I tried the Linux launchpad to the same result. Figuring this to still be an issue with my Linux Distro, I just installed to a Windows 7 VirtualBox. Once again I get the Connection Closed error. The only common denominator I can find between all of these situations is my network: I have been trying to install over a hotel network.
